MERSEA ISLAND SEA SCOUTS
The Sea Scout Section is for boys and girls, usually aged between 10½ and 14 years. A young person may be able to join a Sea Scout Troop from 10 and stay until they are 14½ years with the agreement of the leader team and where it fits best with the young person's needs.
Sea Scouts are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities which can work towards activity and challenge badges and #skillsforlife. We have flexibility to work with young people from a range of backgrounds and abilities. Sea Scouts spend a lot of time outdoors! They focus on water activity on both sea and inland waters. However, they also practice traditional Scouting skills, such as camping, survival and cooking as well as the wide range of adventurous activities and fun. |
Mersea Sea ScoutsSea Scouts on Mersea meet on Thursday evenings.
